On Monday City Council approved our street closure request for #DineOutDowntown! Every Friday from June 5-October 30 from 4-10 p.m. (weather permitting) 3rd Street will be closed from Johnson St. to Franklin St. (cross streets remain open), as well as the northbound lanes of Walnut Street between 2nd and 3rd Streets and Lafayette from 2nd Street to Island City Brewing Company's entrance.

This effort allows downtown restaurants to expand outdoor seating once a week and retailers to utilize sidewalk and street space to display product.
