Fireside Tunes: Amanda Grace

Fireside Tunes is meant to capture the essence of some of our most-loved experiences – spending the evening with folks we care about, listening to live music in a down-to-earth, low-key (but high-vibe) atmosphere, sipping craft drinks, and sharing a love of music – all around our stone-cut fire pits (weather permitting) or inside The Lakely’s cozy lounge.

At Fireside Tunes, you can expect an emotive musical experience of local, regional, and occasionally touring artists with a strong lean towards acoustic, folk, and Americana styles. Fireside Tunes offers listeners a well-rounded sound, with occasional notes of indie, rock, and other musical genres.

This event is free to attend, but please come thirsty!

6PM DOORS // 8PM SHOWTIME // $12 ADVANCE (+ fees) // $17 AT THE DOOR

Amanda Grace is a Minnesota native has released music drifting between folk, alt- pop/rock and Americana. With roots as a pianist her writing is thematically varied with an emphasis on melody and ballads wrapped with warm vocals. “Give Me Away” is her eight record since she began recording in 2010. In 2016 she received a “Front Of Line” pass from The Voice. Her early inspiration came from her family’s loss of her nephew from leukemia and soon after, his father. The writing from the new record include themes of overcoming toxic relationships, the pursuit of one’s many purposes, heart centered living and of course, love. She continues to fully enjoy songwriting, releasing & performing original music in the beautiful Mississippi river valley. This evening she will be joined by Matt Patrick (producer + bassist), Steve Bossman (lead guitar) and her drummer Amber Fletcher.

Fathom Lane: Led by acclaimed songwriter Michael Ferrier, Minneapolis folk rockers Fathom Lane return with their first album since 2017. IN THE DRIFTLESS is a poetic and nuanced blend of country, folk, pop, and rock with lyrics exploring themes of loss, isolation, addiction, discovery, and ultimately: redemption. Ferrier’s songs transport listeners across a variety of musical settings ranging from the open spaces of the Midwestern prairies, to the dark solitude of a hidden bedroom.
